What permanent Christmas lights really are
Permanent holiday lighting is a different approach. Instead of hanging strands every season, a slim LED track is installed once along the roofline and left in place. Because the track is color matched to your fascia, it reads as part of the roofline in daylight. When you want it on, you use an app on your phone. Red and green in December, plain warm white on a normal Tuesday, and whatever you want in between.

How to think about the money
Nobody can quote a system sight unseen, and a number given over the phone is a guess. The useful way to think about it is not the sticker on day one. Count what you already spend on strands, replacements and the hours it takes. Then ask what it is worth to also have light on the house every other night of the year, because that is the part the comparison usually misses.Price is one input.
